I was debating over e17 or pekwm for my june desktop. I may just go with e17. I love em both but right now your shot makes me want to play with e17 again.

Thanks!  I'm really not particular to Nvidia or ATI, just so happens that I have an Nvidia card in that box, and I found that wallpaper and I really liked it as it shows off compositing nicely, so naturally it fits

If you do go with E17 and you want to take advantage of compositing, make sure you use ecomorph.  In my experience it works worlds better than any of E17's current compositors.

Thanks, I'll try and remember that. I used to use e17 almost exclusively on my older box. It was ideal for it, a nice looking and fast running environment. However that box could not handle compositing very well (it had an old nvidia geforce 2, a p4 processor, and 1 gb ram but would studder with compositing).  This box though can more than handle it lol.

WHOA.  What is that emerald theme??  GTK theme, too, since they match pretty well.

..also I don't think I've seen a file manager like that before.  I'm really annoyed at pcmanfm being broken in details view right now.  (Please don't say it's nautilus sad )

Thanks!

I'm using nautilus-elementary from AUR.

The Firefox stylish userstyle is here. The extensions I use are apptab and personal menu. The style is very buggy, especially when there is only one tab open. The style probably only work for Elementary-EM GTK style. I hide all the menu items manually with personal menu.

Other stuff are elementary-monochrome icons, Blendish metacity theme, and thayer's Xdefaults colorscheme.

@zowki: I haven't thought of the coloring before, but indeed it is a nasa picture from mars. There is something soothing/meditative about a real sunset on a different planet.

I need a sorted list of all random numbers, so that I can retrieve a suitable one later with a binary search instead of having to iterate through the generation process every time.

Nice! May I ask how you did the bottom part?

Also, is that a DE you're using?

Thanks!

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Re: May 2010 Screenshots

@prasetyams : Thanks. I've tested nautilus-elementary yesterday and I've tried to make a configuration similar to yours with Gnome (I have not used Gnome for two or three years now) but finally removed it (too heavy, too slow) and I switched to Xfce (version 4.6 is far better than the 4.4). The default thunar configuration with elementary icons give a similar look. Anyway thanks for the informations and nice screenshot smile
