Re: transparent menus xfce

Hi, I'm running arch 64bit with XFCE 4.8. I tried the suggested config to enable transparent menus on arch, but even after sliding the Opacity of popup windows option under

xfwm4-tweaks-settings -> Compositor -> Opacity of popup windows

I still don't have transparent menus, I have xubuntu installed on virtualbox, and the config worked on that installation (just for reference)

Any ideas why its not working on my arch install? Thanks in advanced for your help, regards.

Jaime.

Re: transparent menus xfce

gonzalezgjaime,
Welcome to Arch.  I am afraid I am going to close this thread because it is way too old.  If you would like, please go ahead and open a new thread with a reference back to this one.  We do this because things change so fast in Linux, and stuff from a year and a half ago is likely to confuse things rather than help things.
