I have a dual core processor which is compatible with 64 bit.
Just to remove some confusion, dual "Core" (by Intel) is 32 bit, but I guess you mean something like Core 2 Duo which is 64 bit.
Just for clarification, the first Intel dual-cores in 2007 were 32-bit, but since then there have been a variety of 64-bit dual-cores. As you're probably aware, AMD has its own 64-bit dual-cores. Sorry for the detour off topic.

Is there a way for me to delete dependencies that are no longer being used?
Maybe pacman -Qdt
Also, will -Rns uninstall dependencies that may be used by another application if they share a dependency?
No
