Hi,

A completely noob question which probably have come up before:
What is the program that displays the ASCII Arch logo and the computer details? I've seen on many of the screenshots posted here. Looks nice

I'm thinking of posting mine sometime soon.

Cheers!

Hi,
Archey is a popular one. (Probably the one you're thinking of)

How does pimpd work for you? I'll rewrite it when I get the time...

And for me, still enjoying coding on the laptop in bed. smile

My last screenshot of the month. I decided to play around with kde some.

The favorites menu for mouse action is obtained from here:

It is pretty awesome.. maybe we should make a pkgbuild for it?

The applauncher option, as explained earlier is a function that exists for kde4.4
<snip>

let me know when you make the PKGBUILD big_smile

really nice setup (and writeup)!

mythus wrote:

I am surprised that it wasn't made as an option in 4.4 or thus far in 4.5 like applauncher is.

I agree, i would imagine once actions become more popular they might add a "get more actions" button on the activity settings dialog.  seems like everything in kde is going to have a "get more..." button big_smile

yet another reason i love kde

pimpd works like a charm. I had to remove the lyrics function, though. It wouldn't work for some reason and I can't quite recall what kind of error it was giving me. Nevertheless, pimpd has become necessary for my life-style and I can't imagine life without it. tongue

Yeah - I really enjoy having a boldface while coding (well, in general), and profont couldn't provide that, sad.
I'm using profont as the italic boldface replacement though (italics are so ugly).

Thanks!

Honestly, you're an inspiration to me. You're the reason I'm teaching myself perl. wink Please keep up the great work and continue to release your awesome programs. Anyway, I'm done derailing this thing now. Continue with your normal activity, everyone.

What audio player are you using in this shot. I am pretty sure the now playing thing is cover gloobus but not sure on the actual audio player. Great looking shot, I may steal the wallpaper. wink

EDIT I think I figured it out, is it Sonata?

Thanks,
