On mine, I have my main_window_color set to white, as well as my color1 and main_window_highlight_color, and my clock is white. Not sure which one of the three it is, but I know that it is one.

yes it is main_window_color, but it also changes the main color of other
windows (obviously)...

Pekwm again, though with midori open as opposed to firefox (i have both of them, but midori does'nt play well with displaying images.)

i must say though, i have never had my old desktop running so fast. firefox on windows a long, long time ago took literally minutes to open.
