Re: June 2010 Screenshots

@FaN_OnLy1: That's irssi with the sanecat theme (read the comments): http://github.com/trapd00r/themes/blob/ … ecat.theme

@Rasi: Configs is here: http://github.com/trapd00r/configs

As for pimpd: It sure does work on i686. I'm not to happy with using the AUR for installing Perl modules though, you might want to try this way:

# cpan Audio::MPD

Re: June 2010 Screenshots

What is the terminal font you're using? Also, how did you get NFO files to render correctly in the terminal?

Anyway.. thats probably the wrong thread to discuss this...

He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.

Profont, and see this thread for the NFO's: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=98536

@Rasi: Right. Looks like a temporary failure at cpan.org. hmm

Re: June 2010 Screenshots

Switched to compiz-standalone for my wm from dwm. Still a work in progress! I managed to get dmenu from dwm working (still can't live without it), and found a good emerald theme.

Hi,

How did you set roundcorder for your menu?

@+

Please have a look at the AUR package called fvwm-patched. It's outdated but you can easily adapt the PKGBUILD to use the newest version.

I actually use the patches listed in the package with the newest snapshot available on ftp.fvwm.org.

did that. still couldn't open it. is it because my unarchiver is Squeeze?

also, updated desktop.

tNGl6Yw

seriously, compiz runs about as fast as pekwm or openbox on this machine, and it is so much easier and customizeable.
