By the way, I've just discovered - by accident - that FF3 built for cairo will work under cairo 1.4 (as used by the *-lcd packages).
All you have to do is install the ubuntu packages, build FF3 from SpookyET's PKGBUILD, decide you don't like them as much as the lcd ones because you prefer your "o"s not to have corners, remove them to reinstall the lcd packages and forget to remove FF3. (Hah! "All"! On the other hand, it does mean you might be able to force installation of a prebuilt package and get it running.)
It doesn't work perfectly - that blue/black stripe at the top of the Arch forums isn't always exactly straight, for example, and sometimes appears twice on the page - but it does run and display web pages. And the font rendering is much better than the standalone binary. Or the ubuntu filters.

Is there any pre-compiled build for this?
Proud Ex-Arch user.
Still an ArchLinux lover though.
Currently on Kubuntu 9.10

Nope, just use the firefox-spookyet PKGBUILD from AUR. You'll need a lot of time (My AMD64 3200+ took about 3 hours to compile), but it's worth the wait.
Zl.

There is an i686 build in the comments. Request x86_64 and someone will provide it.
