iTunes...

Can Mac iTunes use a Library over NFS on an ext3 partition? I play music throught the Arch HTPC I built and don't need itunes at all except for putting media onto an ipod touch. I want to delete all the music on the mac laptop. Other suggestions also welcome.

Don't think the underlying filesystem is of any relavance, since Mac OS X supports NFS I'd guess it should work but who knows iTunes is closed so all you can do is try it out.
