lately i've just been googling for a specific image size though, and looking through google images. otherwise i use either a picture i took or something found randomly online. interfacelift was always my first place to go check out wallpapers though

chandl + /wg/ = win!

chandl is my 4chan pic downloader: http://github.com/gostrc/chandl/raw/master/chandl.py
/wg/ which stands for wallpapers & general and it does have some NSFW pics in it.
/w/ anime and wallpapers, I never used this because I'm not really a big fan of the anime craze, just letting you know it exists, it's probably NSFW also, just cause it's 4chan

To use it, run chandl.py wg to download /wg/ or chandl.py w to download /w/

Speaking of /wg/, this sticky (SFW) has some useful links to theming sites. Of particular interest is TinEye, which lets you "search" for a wallpaper by uploading a screenshot that's using it.

use the drop down menus to filter and find random images for your resolution, aspect ratio.

has a NSFW filter aswell.

as you scroll down the page more and more images are randomly loaded. my favorite website, you never know what you are going to find.
