[SOLVED] It's safe to remove yaourt leaving AUR packages installed?

Now that I feel a bit more confident building packages without the assist of an external helper (yaourt in my case), I want to uninstall it. It's safe to do so, even I leave some packages installed with yaourt installed? Should I take some special care uninstalling yaourt? Thanks!

/edit. Solved

No, just remove it. yaourt called pacman to install those packages, so they will remain under pacman's control.
