Something is amiss with the webpages as https://www.archlinux.de/?page=MirrorStatus doesn't show anything either.
The mirrors themselves are available.

Unfortunately I am using archupdate to fetch the mirrors with reflector from the website and this is causing me problems.

This is because the mirrorlist url and format was changed. I am on it. (I also added a check that treats removing all mirrors as error)
