I'm trying to set up Awesome and it's not applying my rc.lua for some reason. I copied the one in /etc/xdg/awesome/ to ~/.config/awesome/ and did some modifications. I restarted Awesome and that didn't work, then I restarted the computer, and it still doesn't have the new config.
You can see the rc.lua at http://sprunge.us/WMLX . There is a diff from the original at http://sprunge.us/OZRV .
Any suggestions?

Hi,
you can ask awesome to check your rc.lua for syntax errors:
awesome -k
That being said, with your config I get this:
rc.lua:60: '}' expected (to close '{' at line 55) near '{'
✘ Configuration file syntax error.
Have a look at „myawesomemenu", there's a comma missing at the end of line 59.
HTH.

Ah, yes! I'm glad there is a checker. I was wondering how I could test the thing. Thanks.
