[SOLVED] Can start xfce4 but can`t start GNOME

Hm, I don`t know what can be a problem. I have installed GNOME just as it wiki says, and somehow - xfce4 works and GNOME don`t. I installed xfce4 just after the instalation of Arch because it was a smallest but nice env, but after that i installed GNOME over the pacman ( and gnome-extra and gnome-system-tools and gks) and now I can`t start it, every time same error: "Cannot open display". Any ideas? I can attach all my conf files if needed.

Update: added "exec gnome-session" to local xinitrc and edited rc.conf but a friend did that so I don`t actualy know atm what he has changed.
