Hi,
anyone good at creating latex themes for presentations using the beamer package?
I'm really bad at it
for my last talk I succeeded at theming my presentation somewhat, but I don't want to go the same pain again.
So, what do I want? a theme somewhat like what I did with http://users.edpnet.be/dieter/uzbl/uzbl-fosdem2010.pdf, but for an Arch Linux related talk. So:
* minimal
* on the first page, I want to put the title of the talk, my name and the date. Maybe an Arch logo above the text if it fits nicely.
* on the other pages, I want a header at the top where I can put the title of the slide (see uzbl slides above), and maybe an small arch logo/text in a corner, and the title centered and in bigger letters. Visually, it could look a lot like the header of the Arch website.
* if possible, arch linux themed colors. Ie whiteish background, dark grey text and blue for bulletpoints, or something.
If you can do it, let me know. But it's pretty urgent, I want to finish my presentation this weekend
thanks

Why not use one of the themes that come with Beamer?
See http://www.pletscher.org/writings/latex … themes.php for a quick overview what they look like and http://www.math.umbc.edu/~rouben/beamer/ points 6 - 11 for customisation.

I know those themes. but I don't like them. Their style and colors are too similar, and they are often too complicated.
I read about writing your own themes (that's how I did the uzbl one), but it cost me a lot of time, which I would rather not invest now.
And since I will present an Arch related presentation on Archcon, I want an Arch theme
