aac+ stream not playing in audacious/deadbeef

This issue keeps coming up every once in a while, and here it is again... I can't play aac+ stream in audacious.
Here's the console output:

neon: <0x90af250> Buffer underrun, trying rebuffering
flacng: Could not seek to 0!
flacng: Could not reset the decoder!

** (audacious:27888): WARNING **: Cannot play http://u11b.di.fm:80/di_vocaltrance_aacplus: no decoder found.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks.

Bump....
I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem. Or you guys don't listen any music?

I don't now much about audacious, but it uses libmad for mpeg audio, right?

MAD does not yet support MPEG-2 multichannel audio (although it should be backward compatible with such streams) nor does it currently support AAC.

I guess you're going to have to use one of the many players that support AAC.

Not sure how this is related to the original question, since AAC is not mp3.
I am not sure, but afaik there is no aacplus decoder for linux. HE-AAC is supported, which is the same thing quality wise, but the implementation is different. aacplus is a total failure and was doomed from the very beginning. Sad to see some people keep using it.

FAAD and FFmpeg handle it perfectly. That covers almost all players. The URL in the OP is playable through both.

Oh yeah, AAC is mpeg audio. It's mpeg4 layer 3 to be exact.

Re: aac+ stream not playing in audacious/deadbeef

libfaad2 is supposed to decode all versions of AAC, including HE-AACv2 (which is modified and improved aac+). And it does - I installed xmms2 and the same stream plays back perfectly.
mplayer plays it w/o problem too:
------
Opening audio decoder: [faad] AAC (MPEG2/4 Advanced Audio Coding)
FAAD: compressed input bitrate missing, assuming 128kbit/s!
AUDIO: 44100 Hz, 2 ch, s16le, 128.0 kbit/9.07% (ratio: 16000->176400)
Selected audio codec: [faad] afm: faad (FAAD AAC (MPEG-2/MPEG-4 Audio))
------
I have "MP4 AAC decoder" plugin in audacious enabled, which says "Using libfaad2-2.7 for decoding. FAAD2 AAC/HE-AAC/HE-AACv2/DRM decoder". So I guess it narrows it down to audacious plugin problem, doesn't it?

I owe you an apology. I didn't realize that there was more to audacious.

The plus makes it better.
