amarok1.4 will not add files to the collection

Using the build in the AUR for amarok1. Works fine other than that. I select directories to be added to the collection and it just ignores them. If I manually add them they'll show, but then if I rescan it removes them even. Doesn't make any sense. They from the files menu fine so it's having no trouble reading them, maybe something with the sqlite db is all I can guess? Not sure what to do to troubleshoot though.
