[Doom 3] Can't start a game

Hi there.

I just installed Doom 3, but I can't start a game…

I read on the ubuntuforums that I can change DefaultDepth to 16, but the game crashes with this option.. Any idea ? Thanks a lot

Works fine for me, using the doom3 AUR installer (on x86_64).

I got an error about reading the pk4 files, but that was a permissions problem solved by making the directory containing the .pk4 files readable by the user.

Also check you have the relevant 32-bit graphics libraries installed if you're on 64-bit.

I will test the installer from AUR as soon as I can. (I already have lib32-nvidia-utils)

I just installed Doom 3

... and randomized the location of the .pk4 files, for the fun of it
