Hi,
I have a btrfs / partition /dev/sda1, swap on /dev/sda6 and ext2 /boot on /dev/sda7
Everything works fine except waking up from hibernation. It just boots like it would without hibernation (except for fs checking).
I didn't find much information why it doesn't. In everything.log there is only the standard
> trying to resume from /dev/sda6
and later
> resume from /dev/sda6 failed
Resume worked fine when I had a jfs partition as /
In mkinitcpio.conf I have the resume hook enabled and I have resume=/dev/sda6 at my kernel boot line. Swap is big enaugh (1gb ram, ~2gb swap).
So basically two questions:
Do people with btrfs / can resume?
If yes, does anyone know what can be cause of the problem?
