Problem with AUR broadcomwl

I've got a HP touchsmart tx2z with a broadcom wireless card

I'm trying to install this: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19514

[rob@roblaptop pkgbuilds]$ wgetpaste PKGBUILD <==That's the original PKGBUILD
Your paste can be seen here: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/237746/

I wanted to build it in my home dir so that I could clean up the mess afterwards with going to root and messing around in the kernel modules...

[rob@roblaptop pkgbuilds]$ nano PKGBUILD <== so I editted PKGBUILD
[rob@roblaptop pkgbuilds]$ wgetpaste PKGBUILD
Your paste can be seen here: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/237751/

[rob@roblaptop pkgbuilds]$ wgetpaste install <Original install, I didn't change this.
Your paste can be seen here: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/237748/

[rob@roblaptop pkgbuilds]$ wgetpaste broadcomwl/Makefile <== Original Makefile
Your paste can be seen here: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/237749/

[rob@roblaptop pkgbuilds]$ makepkg -s <== Gives me a no directory error

[rob@roblaptop broadcomwl]$ wgetpaste Makefile
Your paste can be seen here: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/237752/

[rob@roblaptop pkgbuilds]$ makepkg -s <==does this thing where it is entering the build directory, up to 15000 times before locking up the entire system.

Clearly I've screwed something up, what could it be?

Re: Problem with AUR broadcomwl

Just use the original PKGBUILD, and install the resulting package with pacman. It is futile for you to start changing the PKGBUILD when you don't know what the effect of your change(s) will be.

Also - before you do any of that, try the b43 driver provided in the kernel26 package. b43 supports more Broadcom chipsets with each release, which means more users no longer need wl.
