Options for kpfonts (LaTeX question)

I installed kpfonts by installing texlive-most then I made my document with \usepackage[sfmath]{kpfonts} in the preamble so that the math is sans serif. However LaTeX returns tells me that sfmath is an "Unknown option" for kpfonts package. I read and reread the kpfonts manual and sfmath is the correct option. I could not figure this out on my own ... help :(

Re: Options for kpfonts (LaTeX question)

First, when reading manual see if you are reading the correct version of it =]

kpfonts sfmath option is not included in the texlive 2009 but it is in the new 2010 version (not yet released but packages are in testing repo)

$ grep -E '(v[0-9]\.|\DeclareOption{sfmath})' /usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/kpfonts/kpfonts.sty
        [ 2010/04/20 v3.3]
\DeclareOption{sfmath}            {\kp@sfmathtrue}

Are you using the texlive from extra, correct? So you need to install a new version of kpfonts or install texlive from testing

Re: Options for kpfonts (LaTeX question)

You are right mine is the 2009 version ...

Any idea how I can emulate sfmath in the old version?
