Hi, all.
I have NTP installed from when I did the installation of Arch, but unfortunately, the time is inaccurate by about 7 minutes. I have looked at the wiki here, but can't see a solution:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ntpd
I've also used Google to try to find a solution for resyncing the clock. I'd prefer to use NTP so that my time is always correct, but could bin it if necessary and just manage the time as 'normal'.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris.

Looks confusing. Is there an easy way to confirm that I have NTP installed?
Thanks,
Chris.

pacman -Qs ntp
which should give back ntp or openntpd, you also need to have the daemon added to the array in rc.conf
to see if it's running:
ps aux |grep ntp

That will be a 'no' to both. Looks like I'll be adjusting the date in the good old fashioned way. I'm sure I installed NTP originally.
Thanks for all your help.
Chris.

you can then just do
pacman -S openntpd
and add 'openntpd' to the DAEMONS array in /etc/rc.conf
