Two different wallpapers?

Hello!

Is it possible to have two different  wallpapers?

In compiz I have set
Horizontal Virtual Size 2
Number of Desktops 1

Now I can set two diff. wallpapers with the wallpaper plugin, but it doesnt work well with conky.

Can I do it another way?

I googles and a lot of people say it can be done with "nitrogen", but nitrogen sets my wallpaper always for both workspaces.

So what do I have to do?

I believe Nitrogen can set the wallpaper for each monitor but not for an individiual workspace.

I had this problem too. The best I could do was not use transparency on conky but set it with Compiz instead using the "Opacity, Brightness and Saturation" plugin. The problem is that the text also goes transparent so you could still see the box around conky.
If you have conky cover the whole screen, then it'll just look like you darkened your wallpaper. Not a great solution but it may work okay depending on your wallpapers.
