Hello,
I have recently bought a Samsung R580 and the Wifi's chipset is a Realtek 8192e.
So, i installed the drivers in AUR http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=34281 and i installed wicd.
But when i launch wicd, i don't found wifi's network even if my laptop is next to my router.
I don't understand...
Thanks for your help

Can you see other networks and just not your own?
What happens when you try to connect manually?:
(as root [substitute wlan0 with your interface if different]):
# ifconfig wlan0 down
# ifconfig wlan0 up
# iwlist wlan0 scan
# iwconfig wlan0 essid <network name> key <password>
# dhcpcd wlan0

Hello munkyeetr,
The problem is that i don't see my network in wicd. Only with Ethernet and not with the Wifi.
Actually, i have internet with wifi. It's very strange...
Alternatively, i have my network in wicd or not...
