PiTiVi can't render project

When having edited a video and trying to render it, it says it's rendering but nothing happens no CPU usage no progress no nothing. It doesn't seem to matter which codec/muxer is used.

I have tested it and it only renders when you don't change any options in the render profile.
If you change settings like matroska, x264enc + vorbisenc it just doesn't do anything when it should render.

It also doesn't work if you keep the standard settings but cut the video (it's an mpeg source)
