[solved] eeepc 1000 wireless help

Hi there.

A while back I installed Arch onto my eeepc 1000 following the wiki. Everything works fine apart from the wireless. The device is picked up (and enabled) but networkmanager always shows the device (wlan0) as "device not ready". I have also tried using ifconfig but it only returns:

SIOCSIFFLAGS: Unknown error 132

I was wondering if anyone has anything to help get my wireless working. Please let me know if I need to post anything else.

Do you have the drivers and wireless_tools installed? Post the output of

ifconfig -a

Apparently I had not installed wireless_tools. It's all working fine now. Thanks for the help
