[SOLVED] NetworkManager Doesn't Appear In Tray In xfce4

networkmanager doesn't appear in my tray in xfce4. It works fine if I run it from the terminal as root. As a normal user, I see:

$ nm-applet
** (nm-applet:4384): WARNING **: <WARN>  request_name(): Could not acquire the NetworkManagerUserSettings service.
  Error: (9) Connection ":1.28" is not allowed to own the service "org.freedesktop.NetworkManagerUserSettings" due to security policies in the configuration file

Solved it with adding "ck-launch-session" in my ~/.xinitrc
exec ck-launch-session xfce4
