I've just installed Urban Terror through AUR (the package I installed was "urbanterror"), however, when I try to fetch the server list, I get "No server list from master server".
I've tried some fixes I have found on-line like entering "\cl_master "master.quake3arena.com"" or "\cl_master "master.urbanterror.net"", but to no avail.
I'm unsure if this is relevant, but the game console says "stdin is not a tty, tty console mode failed".

Maybe you're running it in a pty? <shrugs>

I'm just launching it from the Gnome menu (which simply invokes 'urbanterror').
EDIT:
When launching 'urbanterror' from the Gnome terminal I don't get that stdin tty thingy, but I still get "No server list from master server" when trying to fetch the list.

This worked for me,
in ~/.q3a/q3ut4/q3config.cfg change
seta cl_master "master.urbanterror.net"
to
seta cl_master "master.quake3arena.com"

Thanks, but it doesn't work for me.

Okay, I was sniffing with wireshark to see what happens.
All I see is "....getservers 68 full empty" being sent to master.quake3arena.com, with no response.
Maybe is this a network problem? Is there something I should change in the default arch configuration to make this work? I've already tried removing the "ALL: ALL: DENY" from the /etc/hosts.deny, rebooting and trying again but it still didn't work.
UPDATE:
I have absolutely no idea why, but suddenly it works. I'm assuming it was simply a temporary problem with master.quake3arena.com.
UPDATE 2:
For a short while I was able to fetch the server list, but trying to connect to a game I would get a perpetual "awating gamestate..." screen.
After exiting and retrying a couple of times I could not get the list anymore.

Are you using a Firewall? I think that's the problem ...

Radioactive:
I'm embarrassed to say I barely know anything of the way networking is configured by default on Arch.
I have not specifically installed any firewall software, and my /etc/hosts.deny file now has only comments.
I also tried putting up apache, and I *was* able to access it from another machine.

This is a random bug that happens only in Leenucks version u_u Some times, it prevails even for days.
It's recommended to click only in "Refresh", not in "Get new list".
