Choppy sound with mpd

Hello,

With mpd I get choppy sound with lots of pops (sounds like someone is unplugging/plugging headphones rather quickly).

With other audio programs (mplayer, audacious, etc...) I haven't problems, so it's discarded a hardware issue.

Any ideas? I have Realtek ALC268 audio, am using mpd 0.15.11-1 and my mpd.conf is

bind_to_address                "any"
music_directory "/home/renan/Músicas"
playlist_directory "~/.mpd/playlists"
db_file "~/.mpd/mpd.db"
log_file "~/.mpd/mpd.log"
error_file "~/.mpd/mpd.error"
pid_file "~/.mpd/mpd.pid"
state_file "~/.mpd/mpdstate"
user "renan"
audio_output {
   type         "alsa"
   name         "My ALSA Device"
}
mixer_control         "PCM"
buffer_before_play      "10%"
max_playlist_length      "20000"

Thanks!

Re: Choppy sound with mpd

I'm having the same problem...

And where were all the sportsmen who always pulled you though?
They're all resting down in Cornwall
