[SOLVED] Upgrade of vlc - fails to play saved .ts files

I have recorded hdtv files (.ts) which play perfectly with vlc-1.1.0-3.
Upgrades to vlc-1.1.1-2 and 1.1.1-3 will not open and play these files. Had to downgrade.
Any comments would be appreciated

SOLVED -- Upgrade to vlc 1.1.2 fixes the problem

fully update your system then run vlc with vlc -vv and play the file. next paste the output

@bt that may be their regression. vlc-1.1.1-2 was using the same system libs as vlc-1.1.0-3. report it on their bugtracker
