So I got a freerunner for christmas and recently I decided to pick up the task of putting archmobile on it again. I am however running into some trouble, I need to update with pacman but I can't connect to the internet. I've tried this and I couldn't get it to work, so I tried setting up wireless since I've done that several times with my netbook and not had any problems. I used wpa_supplicant because I have a WPA2 encryption on my router, but when I try running wpa_supplicant over ssh I get the following about four times:
ioctl[SIOCSIWENCODEEXT]: Operation not supported
I assume it has something to do with the drivers, however, I'm not sure how to fix the problem if I can't connect to the internet to update them. If it means anything I'm operating off the september 09 snapshots, I'm not sure if I should be, but oh well.
Thank you in advance,

You can download the new drivers and copy them to your archmobile.

Where would I find the drivers for downloading? And where should I copy them in?
(Sorry, I've never encountered this problem before)

I've never used Archmobile, but if it uses the regular drivers, you can try them. I have absolutely no idea which drivers you need for the freerunner.

Thank you very much, I'll continue on with these options and if I need help I'll post something else.

I'm not sure how well Archmobile project is doing, are they updating packages etc.

I've figured out how to get the internet over USB, but that's not exactly the point of having a device that fits comfortably in my pocket. I've run an update with pacman -Syu and wpa_supplicant still refuses to work, I am receiving the same error. It is discouraging to say the least.

ArchMobile is currently "not working". We are working on a solution to keep our repos up-to-date automatically, so please be patient until we write next big news

How about trying Plugbox repos? I'll admit bias, I'm the lead dev, but it's something you can try.
