[SOLVED] HP DeskJet 600 problems

Hey wink

Unsure where to put this topic so sorry if I'm wrong.
I've been using Archlinux for 2 months now, using the testing repos because of the nice KDE 4.5 desktop, but my printer (a good old HP Deskjet 600 on parallel port) does not work.

I mean, it actually prints something, but it's all crap. I've set it up via the cups webinterface, using the hpijs 3.10.4.16 driver, it is recognized by the system and so on, but look what an attempt to print the test page looks like.

As you may see, the printer works all fine on Ubuntu which does afaik use an older driver (3.10.2 or so?)

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks i.A.

€: Downgraded hplip to 3.10.2, works fine now.
