Acer 5745G wireless

Hi folks,

I have an Acer 5745G with a broadcom wireless card. The only description the card gives is 4357. I get the b43 module loaded, and have done the b43-fwcutter to get the firmware installed. Loading the module gives no firmware error in dmesg. However, I still see no network devices eth0 or wlan0.

I think the problem is in the hotkeys. By default, the wlan indicator LED is off every time the machine boots. The hotkey that should turn it on (fnF3) does not seem to do anything.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Edit: Im trying to install acerhk-x86_64 from AUR (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23275). It is giving me the "line 18: ./configure: No such file or directory" and I dont know where to go from there.

Re: Acer 5745G wireless

lspci gives:

Network Controller: Broadcom Corporation Device 4357 (rev 01)

Edit: I'm now trying to build broadcom-wl from AUR and getting to this point:

/bin/sh: scripts/basic/fixdep: No such file or directory

I have the kernel sources installed and fixdep exists, I think whatever is calling fixdep is looking in the wrong location.  This is the limit of my linux knowledge and need some guidance here.

Have tried grep in the pkgbuild directory for fixdep and no returns.
