lpr hanging?

Hi All,

I'm baffled! A few days ago I installed cups on my netbook and was able to print from the terminal using the lpr command over the network (via an ubuntu box) to a HP Laserjet. Now when I try to use lpr(or lpr -p) it seems to just hang, if I visit localhost:631 the printer still exists and says idle, accepting jobs, but nothing (not even test pages gets to it). Any ideas??

Thanks,

Kenny

Re: lpr hanging?

Ignore me, newbie error! lpr -p doesn't list printers!! For those who fall into a similar trap lpstat can be used to find printers.
