Hi.
As the subject says, iproute2-2.6.35-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz breaks vpnc for me.
No messages in the logs but only a
RTNETLINK answers: No such device
in console followed by a message saying that vpnc failed to connect to the remote host.
FWIW, I use a self-compiled 2.6.35 kernel. Rolling back to the previous iproute2-2.6.34-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz fixes the issue for me.

The error message probably comes from vpnc-script, which uses the 'ip' tool excessively. Can you find out where in that script the error occurs?

a fix for this issue was added to 2.6.35-2, can you try it and let me know if it works for you?

Well, it seems that the fix was not the correct one. Please have a look at:

I tested the proposed fix with ipv4 (I don't have ipv6) and it works for me.
