I have two gnome panels, one with the option "hide automatically" and the other is permanent, when I enable compiz (via the command "fusion-icon"), the panel disappear and I can not do come back.
If I have the mouse on the panel (with the option "hide automatically"), it appears in the screen, and when I remove mouse and active compiz (in any order), the panel disappear and I can not bring up the panel again and I do not want to have the panel visible at all times.
when I use compiz via the command "compiz -- replace -c emerald" it is not (the panels act normally ), but I have no window decorator, so I can not move windows, etc.
in compiz I have the following options enabled (the name isn't the same because I have the compiz in spanish, so this is a translation):
