Weird Trackpad Issues

Yesterday, while trying to configure the sensitivity of my trackpad on my MacBook, I set the sensitivity from very low to the highest sensitivity possible. As soon as I did that my pointer became frozen and did not move. Now when I reboot the mouse moves all through the login process, but as soon as the Desktop appears the pointer freezes where I last have it and will not respond. Is there any sort of command to change trackpad settings (it is KDE).

Any other way to fix this incredibly annoying problem? Possibly someway to change the setting in system settings using only the keypad?

Thanks

Re: Weird Trackpad Issues

I believe if you delete your ~/.kde4 folder it resets all settings to default.

EDIT: After you do that, log out and log back in.

The ~ represents your user's home folder. A normal user would typically have their home folder in /home, so it would be located in /home/username. smile
