'Submit' button affects vimperator?

Been getting used to using vimperator for my browsing. On this bbs, when the 'submit' button is clicked, I can't then press 'gt' for next tabe or 'gT' for previous tab until the server has responded.

If I use the mouse to click on whichever tab I want, it switches fine, but the standard Ctrl-PgUp/PgDn buttons don't work either.

Its not a very big deal, but it slows down forum browsing pretty much when I'm actually doing replies and not just reading. Opening links does not do this, though, I can immediately switch tabs with keyboard after selecting a link before anything has loaded even.

Any ideas? Is this a fluxbb issue, or a firefox issue? Is there something else I can do with vimperator to get rid of it?

It's working fine here.
The server responds so quickly that it's hard to beat him, but I don't have any problems with gt/gT.

Yeah, the thing is I'm literally half the world away, with high latencies, so it IS noticeable on my end. I'm no web-dev, and I'd just like to know whether this happens to others (if the website is as responsive as you say, I'd think not...).

Yes, ngoone, it happens to me too. I tried pressing Esc right after f(submit) but that doesn't work either. Have to click with the mouse on some random empty space on the page.

Re: 'Submit' button affects vimperator?

I wonder what could be done about this. Its annoying since my connection here is pretty slow and I really have to wait a couple of seconds before going to the next tab, or reach for the mouse...

Now that I think about it, its likely to be something to do with firefox itself rather than just vimperator, since ctrl-pgdn doesn't work either. Will try it out now, with vimperator uninstalled.

EDIT: And yes, same behaviour. Now to figure out how firefox's bugtracker works....
