Brother 5070N printer [solved -sort of]

I'm trying to get my Brother 5070N network printer working. It works on my Ubuntu machine but not on my Arch install.  I have cups installed and I got the right PPD by following the wiki instructions, but when I go to print I can an error saying:

"Print file was not accepted (client-error-bad-request)!" 

My printer has a fixed IP address (192.168.1.100) and I've modified cupsd.conf to Allow anything going to that address so I'm a bit confused as to where I'm going wrong.  Any hints for me?

update looks like the problem is with the ppd file. It worked using the HPLJ4 ppd.
