pm-suspends suspends twice

Hi,

Have a weird problem with my laptop.  I'm using pm-utils with the uswsusp module.  Every time I suspend, it works fine.  However, when I resume the system resumes, I see my desktop, then my laptop re-suspends itself 1 second later.  It can never wake up from the second suspend and I have pull the plug.

I checked the logs, and don't see anything unusual.

The suspend command 's2ram -rf' works from the commandline perfectly.  This is what the first suspend is doing, but why is pm-suspend re-suspending the machine on resume?

Re: pm-suspends suspends twice

Perhaps you use acpid to suspend on some event (closing the lid, pressing power/sleep button) and also KDE's/GNOME's power managing utilities to do the same.

Take a look at this section. It's not restricted to the NC10.
