No more touchpad

Hello,

On the touchpad of my laptop I've a button to lock the touchpad. The problem is that when I press that button it disable my keyboard. I've found a way to get back the keyboard by switching to another tty (ctrl+alt+Fx) and go back to the normal screen.

A few days ago I pressed that button (by accident) and when I did the switching, I got back the keyboard but not the touchpad... Even after restarting, I still don't have it back.

It works with a USB mouse, it even works before login (on gdm) but not during the session.

Thank you

edit: never mind, I guess there is a universal law that says that when you ask your problem on a forum, it solves by itself without doing anything

But if somebody has an idea about the keyboard problem, I'm interested

Re: No more touchpad

Have you tried  xf86-input-synaptics-clickpad  from here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=38120

Synaptics driver for notebooks which use buttons built into the touchpads, also called clickpads. This patch better supports these, and allows for right clicking.

and also: GPointingDeviceSettings: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=25663
Ça devrait marcher avec ça , non ?
