After pacman -Suy my touchpad is not working properly

First off, let me say that I do run xorg without an xorg.conf. I updated today, and now scrolling is gone. Tapping is gone. Tapping seems to make the mouse jump around the screen. I'm afraid this is a feature and not a problem? Any one has some input?

Edit: Middleclicking(two finger tap) is also gone omg.

Quick fix; Installed xf86-input-synaptics and gsynaptics. Configured the way I wanted it to work. And middle-click emulation uses now three fingers instead of two. Two fingers emulate right click lol.

Re: After pacman -Suy my touchpad is not working properly

A lot of people had this problem after the update of Xorg to 1.8. This was becaude the old hal fdi policy files were made obsolete. You should now add that type of information in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ instead.

I did that, but at the same time I had to configure gnome's mouse settings thingy for it to work properly.
