kernel26-2.6.35.3-1-x86_64 and kslowd

I experienced some crippling CPU usage with the new kernel and my Lenovo T400.  Basically, the four instances of kslowd were each using about 10-20% cpu all the time in top. It was confusing because nothing seemed to be hogging CPU in htop.  If you search "kslowd t400" or "kslowd high cpu" you can find threads about it.  Luckily I had 2.6.34 in pacman's cache and reverting to that kernel seems to be working for me.

Hopefully anybody experiencing stuttering mouse pointers or high cpu usage after the upgrade will save some googling.

I ran into this issue as well on my Lenovo X200.  It seems to be a Lenovo specific issue.  I blame the nipple mouse.

Also, here's a thread discussing the issue on Kernel Trap:  http://kerneltrap.org/mailarchive/linux … 805/thread
