Grub 0.96

Ok I just upgraded Grub 0.96 from 0.95..

My setup is like this....

2 hard discs

One 40 gig master: Windows...
One 40 gig slave: Arch

2 sep hdds.

So I install the new grub through pacman, I go to a failsafe terminal and type /sbin/grub first question input

root (hd1,0)
then
setup(hd0)
it says everything went fine and I reboot and it still says 0.95!! sad I have no clue whats happening.

Re: Grub 0.96

You need to copy the new stage 1/2 files from /usr/lib/grub/i386-pc into /boot/grub before running the setup command.

The install-grub or grub-install utilities will do this for you.
