[req] wxPython 2.5.3.1

Can anyone make this package, i tried but i did not succed.

This package (wxpython 2.4.2.4) is in the extra repo.

I have flagged it out-of-date.

wxpython won't be upgraded very soon.  From wxpython's maintainer:

As an additional comment, I see that for a long time nothing new
happened to wxgtk 2.4.2 series, but most of the archlinux applications
depending on wxgtk doesn't build against the still unstable marked 2.5.x
series.

FYI, wxpython is strongly dependent on wxgtk. Unfortunately, the
development of wxpython runs much faster than the one of
wxgtk/wxwidgets. The releases of wxpython usually ship with it's own
release of wxgtk and these includeded sources are not the stable ones
but from the unstable tree or even cvs snapshots. Certain apps built on
top of wxgtk such as audacity for example does not build with these
wxgtk versions which are required for wxpython. Hence we have to stick
with the stable wxgtk and thus with the older wxpython version. Sorry,
this is how it works out.

Heh, i just flagged this out of date again, I need it for an app i am porting - it depends on 2.5.

I couldnt get it to work either Anyone else feel like giving it a shot?
