I have a problem and dont know how to solve it.
i set up an multimedia pc for watching movies or playing mp3s on a TV screen. on my parallel port works an lcdisplay with lcdproc and everything works fine (i use freevo and so on).
now the pc should also act as a printer server so i decide to buy a parallelport card. first question is, how do i use the port there?
when i load lp and parport_pc, i cant use my lcdisplay anymore. is there any chance to tell parport that it only use one parallelport?
its sounds very strange, hope someone understood and have some hints.
