I was doing a fresh install of Arch tonight and added the new [multilib] repo from the beginning. I'm an ATI user so I installed the proprietary catalyst drivers and then attempted to install lib32-catalyst-utils as well. This fails because the multilib version of lib32-glibc requires glibc>=2.12.1. Unfortunately only glibc 2.12-4 is available in [core].
EDIT:
Strange, looking at the package database it shows glibc's version being 2.12.1-1 since August 13th. Even after 'pacman -Syy' I'm still seeing only 2.12-4 available. I'm going to change my mirrors up and see what happens.
EDIT2:
False alarm. It appears that whatever mirror I was originally pulling my databases from was way out of date. I'm not sure who the offender was.
