skipping filesystem check in fbplash

Hey.

I understand filesystem check is important, however sometimes I need to boot up quickly and skip it for a while (for example, when in a lecture). However, I recently started using fbsplash, and since then I cant use the regular "ctrl + c" to skip it anymore. Is there another way to skip it while in fbsplash?
If its relevant I'm using fbcondecor kernel and fbsplash with arch-black theme. And i used the regular kernel before starting to use fbsplash, if thats also relevant.

Thank you in advance

Re: skipping filesystem check in fbplash

IIRC

touch /fastboot

the opposite is creating a file /forcefsck.

Edit: The speed of filesytem check depends (I think) on power of your cpu, on the size of the filesystem and on the filesystem type: a 40GB ext4 fsck takes about 2 seconds on a P4 2 GHz.. ext3 took several times longer.
