Hi, I am currently trying to burn a DVD, I can eject the dvd drive and load it from k3b, however, it does not recognize my medium, it just outputs "No medium present".
- I have tried several empty dvd's
- The drive starts spinning and noising when I insert the dvd, as if it is trying to read the disk
- I am member of the "optical" group
- I have dvd-rw-tools installed
what more could be wrong?
Thank you in advance.

Your drive is not a dvd-rw drive?

Can you burn from the commandline?

I found out the drive was not a dvd-rw drive but merely a dvd-r drive, I plugged in another one, and it ran straight away, thanks for the help though, and sorry for this STUPID mistake ..
