Kernel Compilation using Abs

Hi,

I am trying to recompile the 2.6.10 kernel using abs. I have run abs to get the source, which now sits in /usr/src. Using the .config file already there, I run make bzImage and after just a few lines I get this message:

scripts/Makefile.build:13: init/Makefile: No such file or directory

Does anyone know what this problem is and how I can fix it?Any useful resources would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
