Chromium wrongly blocks pop-up links

I use google reader a lot and I have this problem: sometimes, when clicking a news link, I get a chromium "pop-up blocked" warning even if until then, every link gets open in a new tab.

This is how it looks:

I'm not sure why this happens. It just starts after using google reader for some time... sad

Re: Chromium wrongly blocks pop-up links

You should report this problem upstream. Also, in the meanwhile, you can allow popups for google reader website.

Re: Chromium wrongly blocks pop-up links

Every browser that I've used on Linux in recent memory has this problem, regardless if it's webkit or gecko based.

Re: Chromium wrongly blocks pop-up links

@x33a: I don't want to allow pop-ups. It would open 100 new windows and this is not what I want.

@skottish: never happens to me in firefox.

Also, maybe not relevant, but this doesn't happen in chrome on windows (at work).

Re: Chromium wrongly blocks pop-up links

There is only one patch applied to chromium and it doesn't seem as if it would cause this issue. http://repos.archlinux.org/wsvn/package … ra-x86_64/

If you want be 100% sure compile without the patch. However, as you have been advised this is an upstream issue and you need to post upstream.
